My Personal Menopause Journey
My own journey into Perimenopause completely caught me by surprise. I started to experience changes I couldn’t explain back in early 2019, I was suddenly feeling very tired and had difficulty concentrating at work just at a time when my career was demanding more and more from me. I was suffering from anxiety, I lost all my motivation and felt I just wasn't coping with stress like I used to.
Feeling very lost and not knowing what was happening I finally visited a doctor who told me I was perimenopausal. I didn't even know what that meant! It seemed crazy to me that as someone who had always been interested in health and wellness that I had no idea this was the cause of my symptoms.
So, from then on I threw myself into studying and learning as much as I could about menopause and how to support my changing body.
I got to know myself better, began taking better care of myself through good nutrition, movement, life-style changes and mindfulness. That led me to start my own business so that I can support other women going through Perimenopause. I don't want you to feel overwhelmed and isolated. I want to help you be in control of this journey and give you the knowledge and support you need so that you can thrive and succeed in all areas of your life.
